Janet Lawrence was born and raised in southern California. She began her career as a model at age 16. This led to an interest in acting and, by the time she reached 30, she had starred in several national commercials.
She became involved in event planning in order to supplement her acting income, but her success in this new enterprise soon led to her leaving the stage and the set in order to concentrate full time on her new business.
In 2001 she moved to central Wisconsin where she started Distinctive Celebrations, LLC. She found a lucrative market there for her services, and the business expanded rapidly. Early in 2008, she added a talent agency to her company and today she represents a growing list of aspiring actors, actresses and models.
A married mother of two children and five grandsons, she balances her faith, her family and her professional obligations with good humor and a passionate desire to help others succeed. Whether her task is to organize the complexities of a large wedding, or to land a job for a new fashion model, she can be counted on to execute her mission with class, integrity and honesty.
